This move is part of Crane's digital transformation strategy aimed at improving cost efficiency and enhancing the agility and reliability of its critical applications.

The transition to AWS is expected to improve application deployment capabilities significantly, reducing environment provisioning time from weeks to hours. The company anticipates achieving 99.99% uptime for critical applications globally post-migration. Crane is also implementing robust disaster recovery capabilities using AWS's global infrastructure.
To facilitate the migration process, Crane has engaged AWS Professional Services for specialized expertise and methodologies. The company is adopting AWS Managed Services for ongoing infrastructure management and operational support, allowing its IT team to focus on strategic initiatives. Additionally, AWS Enterprise Support provides 24/7 technical guidance.
