Airbnb has announced its first global live music partnership, offering unique fan experiences at Lollapalooza festivals in Berlin, Chicago, São Paulo, and Mumbai. The collaboration will provide guests with access to curated Airbnb Experiences, many hosted by performing artists.
This summer, attendees can book daily Airbnb Experiences at various Lollapalooza festivals and gain entry to an exclusive onsite Airbnb lounge. These experiences include concert photography tutorials with professional photographers, behind-the-scenes tours with festival directors, intimate artist performances, and more.
"More and more guests are choosing Airbnb for big events, including concerts and festivals, because Airbnb can bring you as close to the action as possible," said Airbnb co-founder and CEO Brian Chesky. "With our new partnership with Lollapalooza, guests can Airbnb more than an Airbnb—they can unlock once-of-a-lifetime Experiences, rooted in the magic of live music."
The global partnership begins at Lollapalooza Berlin presented by Telekom on July 12-13. One featured experience includes a performance by artist BUNT., followed by an exclusive post-show event in a hidden location on the festival grounds. Booking opens June 5 at airbnb.com/bunt.
Lollapalooza festivals attract fans from around the world: 75 percent of attendees in Berlin come from outside the host city; São Paulo sees 65 percent; Mumbai 57 percent; and Chicago 50 percent.

A recent Airbnb survey indicates that over 70 percent of travelers often book an experience when they travel. This partnership coincides with Airbnb's introduction of reimagined Airbnb Experiences—including Airbnb Originals—designed exclusively for their platform to enhance live music goers' trips.
The global rollout continues throughout summer with new experiences at Lollapalooza Chicago from July 31 to August 3, followed by events at The Town 2025 in São Paulo, Lollapalooza India, and Lollapalooza Brasil.
