Amazon has announced that Prime Day 2025 was its largest ever, with customers saving billions on deals across more than 35 product categories. This year's event spanned four days and set records for sales and items sold. Prime members took advantage of discounts on popular brands like Dyson, medicube, and Philips Sonicare.

The extended event allowed members to find deals in electronics, beauty, and household essentials. Among the best-selling products were Apple AirPods Pro 2, BIODANCE Bio Collagen Real Deep Mask, and Dawn Platinum Powerwash Dish Spray. Alexa-enabled devices also saw high sales, with the Ring Battery Doorbell and Fire TV Stick HD being top sellers.

Prime Day's success was supported by new features such as Alexa+, Amazon's next-generation personal assistant available in Early Access. AI-powered shopping assistants like Rufus and AI Shopping Guides helped customers navigate deals efficiently.

Doug Herrington, CEO of Amazon Worldwide Stores, commented: "This year’s extended Prime Day event delivered incredible savings to our members across millions of deals." He credited employees, delivery partners, vendors, and sellers for their roles in making it the biggest Prime Day yet.

Independent sellers also experienced record sales during the event. Anne Maza from Olivia Garden shared: “Prime Day 2025 was our most successful Amazon shopping event since launching our store in 2019.”

Prime membership offers a range of benefits including free shipping on over 300 million items in the U.S., exclusive deals like Prime Day events, access to Prime Video content, ad-free music streaming through Amazon Music, discounted prescription medications via Amazon Pharmacy's RxPass program, and more.

Amazon continues to focus on customer satisfaction with principles centered around customer obsession rather than competitor focus. The company aims to be Earth’s Most Customer-Centric Company while providing a variety of services through its platforms.
