Airbnb has announced a partnership with K-pop group SEVENTEEN to launch a series of themed experiences in Seoul, Los Angeles, and Tokyo. The collaboration is set to begin in Seoul on August 21, coinciding with SEVENTEEN’s upcoming ‘SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [NEW_]’, and will expand to other cities later this year.

The new offerings build on the response to SEVENTEEN’s 10th Anniversary Airbnb Experience held earlier in Seoul. The company is working with HYBE and PLEDIS Entertainment to create these exclusive events. In September, guests in Seoul will have the opportunity to participate in sessions led by Youngmin Kim, SEVENTEEN’s vocal coach, and Youngjun Choi, a prominent K-pop choreographer.

“Each experience is designed to bring fans one step closer to the world of K-pop, guided by industry professionals and inspired by SEVENTEEN’s energy and artistry. With SEVENTEEN’s passionate international fanbase and Airbnb’s global platform reach, our partnership unveils an exciting new way to engage K-pop fans around the world – one that seamlessly blends concerts, travel, and new experiences like never before,” said Lyla Seo, Country Manager of Airbnb Korea.

The events are scheduled for September 11 and 12 in Seoul, just ahead of SEVENTEEN's concerts in Incheon on September 13-14. Details about similar experiences in Los Angeles (October 16–17) and Tokyo (December 11–12) will be shared at a later date.

Youngmin Kim has over ten years of experience coaching some of HYBE MUSIC GROUP's top acts. Guests can join a 90-minute vocal session inspired by SEVENTEEN concerts and the fan tradition known as 떼창 (dde chang). Youngjun Choi, who has created more than 700 dance routines for major K-pop groups including SEVENTEEN and received the Prime Minister’s Award for Popular Culture and Arts in 2020, will lead a dance workshop breaking down signature moves from popular songs such as “Super” or “VERY NICE.”

Each session costs $50. Bookings open on August 22 at 6:00 PM PST.

Guests booking a SEVENTEEN-themed Airbnb Experience for September 11 or 12 or an Airbnb stay in Korea starting between September 1-14 may receive a special package featuring unreleased ‘passphotos’ of SEVENTEEN members along with an Airbnb passport. These packages can be picked up at the group’s concert venue in Incheon.

“Every year, fans travel around the globe to watch their favorite K-pop artists light up the stage,” said Jason Jaesang Lee, CEO of HYBE. “We are excited to join forces with Airbnb to explore new ways to take the fan experience beyond the concert venue, and to the next level.Through this meaningful partnership, we look forward to offering deeper connections to our vibrant K-pop community, and turning every concert trip into a truly unforgettable experience.”

A recent survey conducted by Airbnb found that more than seventy percent of travelers often book experiences when traveling. This comes as Airbnb introduces revamped Experiences offerings under its platform—including "Airbnb Originals," which feature unique activities hosted by notable individuals worldwide.

In addition to participating in these music-focused events, visitors traveling through Seoul can choose from other distinctive local activities available via Airbnb Originals, such as cooking classes with chefs or pottery workshops.
