Lawn care booking data from 2025 shows notable changes in where homeowners are investing in yard maintenance. According to GreenPal, some of the busiest zip codes for lawn care are located in fast-growing metro suburbs, while certain smaller towns have seen large increases in demand.

The report highlights that four Nashville-area zip codes—37206, 37216, 37207, and 37209—are among the top ten for total bookings. This reflects Nashville’s ongoing growth and a steady influx of new homeowners. The combination of historic neighborhoods and new housing developments has made lawn care a common need.

In Texas, Houston suburbs such as Katy (77449) and Richmond (77494) also saw high service demand. These areas are characterized by larger lots and families who often choose professional maintenance services. In Clarksville, Tennessee, the 37042 zip code near Fort Campbell illustrates how military communities depend on reliable lawn services due to frequent relocations.

Growth is not limited to major cities. Some smaller towns have recorded significant year-over-year increases in bookings. Blountville, Tennessee experienced a 655% rise in demand, attributed to increased housing turnover. Landis, North Carolina (+641%), Commerce City, Colorado (+607%), Alachua, Florida (+575%), and Crete, Illinois (+536%) were also among the fastest-growing cities for lawn care appointments.

These figures indicate that secondary markets outside major urban centers are now leading the surge in demand for lawn care services.

Regionally, several trends emerged:

- Cities in Tennessee, North Carolina, and Florida reflect a broader pattern of migration into the Southeast.

- Midwestern locations like Crete and Bella Vista show that families moving away from larger metropolitan areas are fueling new demand.

- Western suburbs such as Commerce City illustrate expansion outward from core metro areas.

These patterns match national housing trends that point to people relocating into smaller markets with bigger yards—and therefore greater needs for lawn maintenance.

For homeowners across these regions, outsourcing yard work is becoming more common due to time limitations or rental turnover. For vendors providing these services in emerging markets like Blountville or Landis, there is an opportunity to establish a strong presence as local demand rises rapidly. In established markets like Nashville or Houston’s suburbs, providers benefit from higher booking volumes within mature service areas.

GreenPal based its findings on over one million appointments booked through its platform between 2023 and 2025.
