Harlan Coben’s new mystery series, "Lazarus," will be available for streaming on Prime Video starting October 22. The show features Sam Claflin as Joel Lazarus, who returns home after his father's death and becomes involved in investigating a string of cold-case murders.
All six episodes of the series will be released at once. Access to Prime Video is included with an Amazon Prime membership, which costs $14.99 per month or $139 annually. There are also special discounts for young adults and government assistance recipients. Those who are not yet members can begin with a 30-day free trial that provides access to Prime Video along with other benefits such as fast shipping.
Prime Video can be streamed on compatible devices through the web, the Prime Video app, or select smart TVs. Episodes can also be downloaded for offline viewing on iOS, Android, and Fire devices.
The plot centers around Joel Lazarus returning home after his father dies by suicide. As he confronts his past and begins experiencing unexplained events, he suspects there may be more behind his father's death. His search leads him into cold-case investigations connected to his sister's unsolved murder from 25 years earlier.
The series is based on an original story by Harlan Coben and was developed in collaboration with BAFTA winner Danny Brocklehurst. Bill Nighy joins the cast as Dr. Jonathan Lazarus, Joel’s late father, alongside Alexandra Roach, David Fynn, Karla Crome, and Kate Ashfield.
