Prime Video has announced its broadcast team for the 2025 season of "Thursday Night Football," featuring a mix of experienced announcers, former NFL players, and production professionals. The lineup will cover all games exclusively on Prime Video, now in its fourth season as the official home of Thursday night NFL matchups.

Al Michaels returns as play-by-play announcer. Michaels is recognized for his long career across major sports events and is the only commentator to lead coverage of the Super Bowl, World Series, NBA Finals, and NHL Stanley Cup Finals on network television.

Kirk Herbstreit joins as game analyst. Herbstreit brings over two decades of experience from ESPN and has won multiple Emmy Awards for his analysis work.

Kaylee Hartung serves as sideline reporter. Hartung has worked with NBC’s Today show and held reporting roles at ABC’s Good Morning America, World News Tonight with David Muir, and Nightline.

Charissa Thompson hosts the broadcasts alongside analysts Tony Gonzalez, Richard Sherman, Ryan Fitzpatrick, and Andrew Whitworth. Thompson has previously hosted shows including NFL on FOX and Extra.

Andrew Whitworth provides pregame, halftime, and postgame analysis after retiring from a 16-year NFL career. He was recognized with the Walter Payton Man of the Year award in 2021 for community service.

"I think we all feel like it's our birthday every Thursday night," Whitworth said in a recent media call previewing the 2025 TNF on Prime season."We get to go have a birthday party in the sense of we love the game of football and this is this awesome thing we get to all go do together and just be there to watch.

"And I think the ultimate goal to us is: Are we the kind of people that you wanna watch a game with? Like, we're not there to overtalk you, we're not there to say that we know more than you. We're there to create the picture and have a blast and say, 'Man, let's watch this freaking awesome game tonight. Let's find a way to laugh at ourselves, laugh at the game, have fun with it."

Richard Sherman also contributes as an analyst following an 11-year playing career in which he spent time with teams such as the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers.

"We're getting to do what we love with the people we love, in an environment we love to do it in," Sherman said in a recent media call previewing the 2025 TNF on Prime season. "We understand that we're not the show. The game is the show, the players are the show."

Ryan Fitzpatrick continues his role as analyst after playing quarterback for several NFL teams over 17 seasons.

"Whit, Sherm and I were all fresh off the field and Amazon kind of took a chance and said, 'Gosh, I don't know. Let's put these three knuckleheads in there and see how it goes,' and the friendship that we were able to forge, the chemistry that we have off of the screen, we hope that that really shines," Fitzpatrick said in a recent media call previewing the 2025 TNF on Prime season. "We also all genuinely love the game of football, and we hope that that shines through when we talk about the game and players and relationships, because it is such a huge part of our lives."

Tony Gonzalez appears as another pregame analyst after being inducted into Pro Football Hall of Fame for his career as tight end.

Taylor Rooks conducts feature interviews during coverage; she was nominated for an Emmy Award for her work in sports journalism.

Terry McAulay provides rules analysis based on his two decades officiating NFL games—including leading crews at three Super Bowls—before becoming an analyst for both TNF coverage on Prime Video and NBC Sports.

Mark Teitelman produces live broadcasts; he holds ten Sports Emmy Awards from prior work producing events such as NFL Drafts at NFL Network or FIFA World Cups at FOX Sports.

Sam Schwartzstein works closely with Next Gen Stats analytics streams offered by Prime Vision during alternate broadcasts; he previously helped design XFL rules before joining Prime Video’s team.

Miguel Gurwitz delivers Spanish-language play-by-play commentary while continuing his role at Telemundo covering international sporting events including Olympics or FIFA World Cups.

Rolando Cantú offers analysis en español following his experience playing professionally with Arizona Cardinals.
