Prime Video will debut a new animated series, The Chosen Adventures, on October 17. The series is an adaptation of the world depicted in The Chosen and centers on two children living in ancient Capernaum who experience life-changing encounters with Jesus.

The show features voice performances from Romy Fay as Abby, Jude Zarzaur as Joshua, Paul Walter Hauser as Sheep, Yvonne Orji as Pigeon, Danny Nucci as Abba, Zehra Fazal as Eema, Jonathan Roumie as Jesus, and Jordin Sparks as Fish. Ryan Swanson is the writer, executive producer, and showrunner. Dallas Jenkins serves as executive producer through his 5&2 Studios banner. The series is co-produced by Amazon MGM Studios and 5&2 Studios.

The Chosen Adventures will consist of 14 episodes that are each eleven minutes long. According to Prime Video, the story follows Abby and her best friend Joshua: "When the children encounter a wise craftsman and teacher, Jesus of Nazareth, he helps them change the way they see the world, and they help spread his influence far and wide (among the 7-to-12-year-old set). And did we mention that Abby has a talking sheep?"

The series will be available for streaming to all Amazon Prime members at no additional cost beyond membership fees. Prime membership costs $14.99 per month or $139 annually and includes benefits such as free shipping on millions of items and exclusive deals. Discounted memberships are also available: young adults aged 18–24 can access Prime for Young Adults with a six-month trial followed by reduced monthly or annual rates; qualifying government-assistance recipients can try Prime Access for 30 days before paying a lower monthly fee.

More information about Prime Video's programming can be found on its website.
