NBA announces schedule of live games to stream exclusively on Prime Video

ORGANIZATIONS IN THIS STORY

The NBA will begin streaming 67 games on Prime Video starting with an opening-week doubleheader on October 24, 2025. The first games feature the Boston Celtics against the New York Knicks at 7:30 p.m. ET, followed by the Los Angeles Lakers hosting the Minnesota Timberwolves at 10 p.m. ET. These matchups are rematches from previous NBA playoffs. Prime Video's coverage in Canada is scheduled to start in 2026.

Throughout the season, Prime Video will stream several high-profile games featuring notable players such as Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of the Oklahoma City Thunder, LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers, Kevin Durant with the Houston Rockets, Anthony Edwards from the Minnesota Timberwolves, and top draft pick Cooper Flagg of the Dallas Mavericks.

Starting October 31, Prime Video will air five consecutive Friday-night doubleheaders for Emirates NBA Cup 2025 Group Play games. The platform will also stream quarterfinals, semifinals, and championship matches for the Emirates NBA Cup between December 9 and December 16. Exclusive coverage is planned for international events including NBA Berlin and London Games on January 15 and January 18 respectively.

Prime Video has secured exclusive rights to broadcast the SoFi Play-In Tournament in April 2026, which determines playoff seeding for teams ranked seventh through tenth in each conference.

Fans can watch these games using compatible devices worldwide via Prime Video’s app or website. Membership costs $14.99 per month or $139 per year; discounted rates are available for young adults and qualifying government assistance recipients.

Prime Video’s broadcast team includes play-by-play announcers Ian Eagle, Kevin Harlan, Michael Grady, and Eric Collins; game analysts Stan Van Gundy, Brent Barry, Dell Curry, and Jim Jackson; sideline reporters Cassidy Hubbarth, Kristina Pink, Allie Clifton, and JayDee Dyer; hosts Taylor Rooks; studio analysts Dirk Nowitzki, Blake Griffin, John Wall, Udonis Haslem; as well as Dwyane Wade, Steve Nash, Candace Parker as in-game analysts.

NBA League Pass will also be accessible through Prime Video Channels for those seeking additional live and on-demand content.

In addition to basketball coverage, Prime Video offers other sports such as NFL football—including Thursday Night Football—WNBA games and more live sporting events. The service also provides a range of movies and TV series.
