Prime Video is launching new interactive and AI-powered features for NBA fans as it begins its 11-year partnership with the league on October 24. The platform aims to offer a more personalized and engaging viewing experience through a range of enhancements, including bet tracking, customizable viewing options, and advanced broadcast technology.

The new features will be available alongside Prime Video’s exclusive regular and post-season NBA coverage. Fans can also access additional NBA content through add-on subscriptions such as NBA League Pass and FanDuel Sports Network RSNs.

Personalized bet tracking allows viewers who link their Prime Video profile to their FanDuel account to see real-time updates on active bets during live games. This feature displays progress and outcomes but does not permit placing bets directly within Prime Video. An immersive Odds View overlay provides rotating information about live odds, lines, and probabilities for various types of bets. Both the bet tracking and Odds View can be turned off in the app settings.

The Multiview function enables subscribers to watch multiple games at once across most devices, giving them control over which matchups are displayed prominently or in smaller windows. This flexibility is designed so fans do not miss important moments from different games.

Key Moments uses AI models to curate significant plays during the game—such as crucial dunks or three-pointers—and makes them easily accessible for replay at any time. Rapid Recap offers late-joining viewers a quick highlight reel summarizing major events in under two minutes before transitioning back into live action.

Real-time stats are available throughout each game, providing both traditional box scores and advanced statistics powered by AWS without interrupting the live stream.

All broadcasts will be delivered in native 1080p HDR video with 5.1 surround sound, utilizing proprietary technology developed by Prime Video and AWS to ensure ultra-low latency streaming that matches or exceeds cable network speeds.

To watch NBA games on Prime Video, users can stream via compatible devices worldwide using the web or mobile app. Content is also available for offline viewing on select devices after download. A Prime membership costs $14.99 per month or $139 annually, with discounted rates for young adults and qualifying government assistance recipients.

"Prime Video tips off its 11-year agreement with the NBA on October 24," according to the company announcement. "Viewers will enjoy new levels of personalization, engagement, and broadcast quality with a comprehensive suite of interactive features and AI-powered broadcast enhancements."
