Shipt has announced a partnership with Perplexity, an AI-powered answer engine, to launch a new "Chat to Cart" feature through Perplexity’s Comet browser. The collaboration aims to simplify the shopping process for Shipt customers by making it easier to discover and add products for same-day delivery.
According to Shipt, its service currently saves members about eight hours per month by connecting them with dedicated shoppers who fulfill and deliver orders. The new integration is intended to further reduce the time and mental effort required to build shopping carts, while also enhancing product discovery and personalization.
