The animated series "The Mighty Nein" is set to premiere on Prime Video on November 19. The show is set in the same universe as "The Legend of Vox Machina" and is based on a story-driven adventure game from Critical Role. It follows eight outcasts who must come together to save their world when a powerful magical relic, known as "The Beacon," falls into enemy hands. The series explores themes of redemption and found family, blending dark humor with dramatic storytelling.

The cast features several well-known voice actors, including Laura Bailey, Taliesin Jaffe, Ashley Johnson, Liam O'Brien, Matthew Mercer, Marisha Ray, Sam Riegel, and Travis Willingham. Guest stars include Mark Strong, Alan Cumming, Tim McGraw, Anika Noni Rose, Ming-Na Wen, Auli'i Cravalho, Rahul Kohli, Robbie Daymond, and Jonathan Frakes.

Tasha Huo is the showrunner for "The Mighty Nein," with Chris Prynoski and Shannon Prynoski serving as executive producers.

The series will be available exclusively to Prime Video subscribers. Amazon Prime membership costs $14.99 per month or $139 per year. There are discounted rates for young adults and qualifying government assistance recipients at half price. New users can start with a 30-day free trial. Prime Video can be accessed on a wide range of devices and allows users to download episodes for offline viewing.

Prime Video's October lineup also includes titles such as "Play Dirty" and "Hazbin Hotel," along with a variety of movies, series, sports, and new episodes.

"The Mighty Nein" takes place 20 years after the events of "The Legend of Vox Machina" in the world of Exandria.
